A 1984 malt from the oldest distillery in Japan. This Yamazaki has been matured in native Japanese Mizunara oak casks as well as American and European oak casks. It was bottled in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Yamazaki being launched onto the market as a single malt whisky in 2009. It was awarded the Best Single Malt whisky at the 2011 World Whisky Awards.
