You didn’t think we organised all that transport for just one cask of Mhoba did you? This one is right up the alley of the Ester Hunter. At the Whisky Jury offices we lovingly refer to this one as “the compost bin”. At a whopping 67.9% this is just an explosion of weirdly lovely rotten fruit and vegetables, glue, gasoline, sardines and biltong with a just faint hint of death and destruction on the back of the pallet reminding you you’re alive. Maybe the most beastly rum we’ve ever bottled, but perhaps also one of the most interesting.
