This is the most limited edition of all limited editions of this annual serie which is just ended by the release of the No. 6. The ultimate bottle of the whole serie: The Macallan No. 1 Wooden Box. When you lift the wooden box, you will immediately notice it is made from high quality, very heavy stuff!

Edition No.1 is a distinctive single malt of high quality. Master Whisky Maker Bob Dalgarno draws the perfect quantity from 8 unique European & American oak casks to create an intriguing, multi-dimensional whisky that is light and soft and finishes rich and dark. This is the first release in a planned annual limited release. Matured in 58% Butts, 23% Hogshead and 19% Puncheon, this liquid has been matured in the following 8 types of cask.
