One of the oldest Kavalan sherry cask bottlings with an age of 7 years old. Just freshly reviewed by the whisky guru Ruben Luyten at www.whiskynotes.be who gave this Kavalan single sherry cask 90 points out of 100 (click here)!!!
This was a forgotten bottling, it was imported to the US but the owner changed his mind, it was sent back to Taiwan and so on. To cut things short, it was offered to Whisky Sifu and the San Francisco Whiskey Bourbon & Scotch Society who recently distributed it with a Golden Gate Sunset back label.
A limited edition of only 479 bottles. And I can tell you at least one is cracked by Ruben himself ?
