Chichibu is the emerging Japanese distillery in the whisky world. With winning award after award, investors and connoisseurs become aware of the intrinsic value of Chichibu. This On The Way expression was bottled in 2013 while the distillery was “on the way” to releasing their first five year old single malt. The whisky itself is a vatting of various ages, featuring whiskies which have been matured in bourbon casks and finished in mizunara oak casks, before being bottled at 58.5% ABV.
