This expression was the very first single malt released by the now famous Chichibu distillery which was founded by Ichiro Akuto. Distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2011 aged 3 years old. Showcased at the 2011 Whisky Show, then released in UK in early 2012.
This is the first Chichibu ever released to the United States with a 750 ml size. And all men know: “Size matters!!!” ?
In contradiction to the European release of this whisky, these bottles are not individually numbered and have a different abv %. So as collector I think you must own both ?
