As whisky investors we all know that the very first edition of any serie is the most valuable. For instance the Macallan Edition No. 1 or the first edition of the Japanese Ghost Series.
This bottle is not only the very first edition of a serie, but in fact the very very first edition of the new independent bottler Roger’s Whisky Company from the Netherlands. A 12 year old Caol Ila single cask with a Pedro Ximenez Octave finish! The bottler told me it is yummy, but I think the best judgement is to taste it yourself. Therefore we also offer 30 ml samples in case you like the label so much that you can’t crack the seal without shaking hands ? and tears in your eyes?
