Macallan

Macallan was founded in 1824 in the heart of Speyside. Nowadays it is a subsidiary of the Edrington Group which bought it from Highland Distillers in 1999. The Macallan was one of the first distilleries in Scotland to be legally licensed. Until 1960 the Macallan whiskies were used in blends. But nowadays their single malts are one of the most solid investments.
