Chichibu

The Chichibu distillery was founded in 2004 by Ichiro Akuto who is the grandson of the founder of the closed Hanyu distillery. Chichibu started producing whiskies from 2008. Chichibu is a relatively small, yet a very popular distillery. The whiskies are relatively young but already receiving many good reviews! All new Chichibu releases are always sold out in a record time!
